Vix Service Tiers
Guidance Tier I
Price: Free
Duration: 15 minutes
Ideal For: One focused tech topic such as a quick purchase decision, minor troubleshooting, or a specs question.
Remote / On Site: Remote only by secure video or phone, screen-share optional.Notes
• Limit one topic per call.
• No hands-on setup, data transfer, or warranty. Follow-up work moves to paid tiers.
• A brief intake form lets us prepare so you leave the call with a clear action plan.
Guidance II Tier
Price: $24.99
Duration: 30 minutes
Ideal For: Up to two detailed tech questions or a side-by-side product comparison. We leave you with a clear buying plan for phones, tablets, computers, or other smart-home gear.
Remote / On Site: Your choice. Remote by secure video or phone, or on-site within our service radius.Notes
• Advice only. No physical setup, data transfer, or wiring.
• If a session runs long due to factors outside our control, we finish the answer without extra charge.
• One free reschedule is allowed with at least twenty-four hours’ notice.
• The intake form keeps the session focused so you end with confident next steps.
Guidance III Tier
Price: $29.99
Duration: 60 minutes
Ideal For: On-site setup of one personal device such as a printer, computer, smartphone, tablet, network router, or TV up to forty-three inches. Service includes Wi-Fi connection, account sign-in, a basic security check, and a brief walkthrough of key features.

• Additional devices may be set up during the visit at $15 per device, at the consultant's discretion.

Forge Tier
Price: $74.99
Duration: 90 minutes
Ideal For: Complex in-home projects. We configure up to three devices from the Guidance III list, set up a mesh Wi-Fi system, and handle data transfers up to 50 GB. Every connection is verified and secured before we leave.

• No drilling, wall mounting, cable runs, electrical work, business-administration setup, or advanced network architecture.
• Data transfers over 50 GB require overnight processing and are handled under the Concierge Experience.

Concierge Experience
Price: $129.99
Duration: 180 minutes
Ideal For: Complete start-to-finish service including purchasing guidance, hardware delivery, and in-home setup for up to three TVs, five computers, five mesh Wi-Fi points, five smartphones, five tablets, and one custom gaming PC. Data transfers larger than 50 GB are performed overnight and verified the next day.

• Warranties cover original scope only and exclude new tasks or devices6. Data loss disclaimerWe take reasonable steps to protect data, yet any change carries risk. Back up all devices before service. Vix is not liable for data loss, revenue loss, or opportunity cost.7. Privacy and confidentiality• Information shared during a session remains private
• Online data is stored in encrypted form and never sold or rented
• Vix does not store passwords or transfer personal files without permission8. Limitation of liabilityTotal financial responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for that session, or 100 USD if the session was free. Vix is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.9. Governing lawThe laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky govern these terms. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky.10. Changes to termsWe may update these terms at any time. The new version is effective when posted on the Vix website. • All traffic travels over HTTPS encryption.
• Form submissions reside in an encrypted database with role-based access.
• Admin accounts use mandatory two-factor authentication.
• Backups are encrypted at rest and deleted after thirty days.
• Access logs are reviewed quarterly for unauthorized activity.4. Sharing with third partiesWe share data only with vendors essential to operating Vix and each vendor must keep the data confidential.
• Stripe or PayPal – payment processing.
• Plausible Analytics – aggregate, cookie-free traffic metrics.
• Email delivery provider – transactional messages and opt-in updates.We do not sell or rent your information.5. Cookies and tracking
• A single Cloudflare security cookie protects the Site.
• The Site sets no marketing or profiling cookies.
• Embedded media such as YouTube may set their own cookies when you press Play. You may block cookies in your browser, but embedded media may stop working.6. Data retention
• Inquiry and booking records – twenty-four months.
• Service records and invoices – seven years for tax compliance.
• Analytics logs – twenty-five months in aggregate form.
